Below is a collection of each major religion's Golden Rule. Although varying, all centre around the general principle of treating others as one wants to be treated.  It is an ethic of reciprocity, a guiding principle spanning across religions and time periods. The Golden Rule in Native Spirituality states that "we are as much alive as we keep the earth alive." By treating the earth with the same respect we expect for ourselves, we may foster our connection with the environment and be more motivated to ensure its' survival.
